The powerful STAHLWERK MIG 200 Double Pulse Pro gas shielded welder has a convenient pulse as well as double pulse function and works with up to 200 amps. The special double pulse function enables clean, precise welding of thin sheets. The double-pulse function is particularly useful when welding aluminium, as the welding current is controlled in optimum synchronisation with the wire feed and the oxide layer is broken up cleanly. The finely regulated temperature control produces an optimal penetration for the formation of a defect-free weld seam without pores. Another advantage of the robust 17.25 kg combi welder is that it can also be used for MMA welding.

Functions

Extensive double pulse function in MIG welding prevents materials from burning through at low root heights and reduces deformation due to heat. Therefore, the MIG 200 double pulse Pro welder is particularly suitable for welding thin sheets and materials that may be heated only slightly.
The MIG 200 Double Pulse Pro works on the basis of an advanced IGBT module with the latest inverter and control technology.
The MIG 200 Double Pulse Pro welding machine can process and weld non-, low- and high-alloy steels such as steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys.
Thanks to the pulse function and advanced torch ergonomics, welding can be carried out in all known joint shapes (butt welds and fillet welds) and positions (steel seam, drop seam, transverse seam).
Convenient selection of the operating modes twin, spot and continuous spot as well as other special welding functions.
The welding unit is suitable for the use of solid welding wire (steel, stainless steel; Ø 0.8 - 1.0 mm and aluminium; Ø 1.0 - 1.2 mm) and flux cored wire. Thus, a wide variety of materials can be processed and welded.

Features & Benefits

Universally applicable 3 in 1 combination unit. MIG, MAG and MMA welding is possible up to 200 amps.
Built-in safety function to reduce the voltage (Volt Reduction Device - VRD). To increase safety during welding, the open circuit voltage U0 is reduced to 14 volts in MMA mode. The welder automatically detects the start of the welding process and then increases the open circuit voltage up to 62 volts. VRD is preset at the factory and cannot be switched off.
Built-in job memory allows preferences and parameters to be set to complete recurring jobs efficiently and quickly. Jobs and parameters can be restored. This enables convenient work without wasting time on set-up.
The 2T/4T (MIG) mode allows control of the operating mode and offers advanced control over the current flow in special 2 and special 4 cycle mode.
Automatic wire feed for precise regulation of the wire feed speed in direct relation to the set welding current.
Extensive setting options in terms of current and functions via intuitive graphic interface in the Display.

Highest Efficiency & Power - Single-phase AC (230V) powers the unit and allows output power of true 200 amps.
Smart Cooling & Overheat Protection - State-of-the-art technology, built-in overheat protection and high performance cooling allow maximum power to be accessed during welding.
Suitable for use with the following shielding gases: 100 % Ar, 100 % CO₂, 2 % CO₂ + 98 % Ar, 20 % CO₂ + 80 % Ar. This ensures efficiency, energy saving as well as strong arc penetration with low welding deformations.
The spool mandrel ensures frictionless take-up of 50 mm wire spools and is not suitable for 1 Kg wire reels with 16 mm spool mandrel take-up.

Note: The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage supply system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
